What a busy time it has been… birthdays, Christmas preparation starting and already in full swing, we can count the days until the year end already and oh what changes will 2019 bring!

But first things first, we had a lovely weekend celebrating Gavin’s birthday with his friends on the ice rink (under the aircon – right after cleaning, the ice is not half bad) and enjoyed a lovely dinner with friends in the Botanic Garden in the evening to relax (though beware, no alcohol served at Halia, so we had to head to Dempsey Hill after that for a cold bottle of white). Sunday was all about more X-mas preps, putting up the tree, finding space for lots of trinkets and working on our presents for Santa and the family back in Europe.

Time is flying, so stay tuned for more until we are finally taking off for our 2019 adventure!
