…and it has already been 5 weeks that we are back in Switzerland. The weather definitely meant well and made us feel just like home with hot days above 30 degrees Celsius, blue skies and perfect conditions for swimming in the lovely lakes and rivers Switzerland has to offer. We were – however – quite busy with unpacking the huge container and its contents that amazingly reached its destination just in time and we already were surrounded by boxes on our first morning here; after a night on camping mats on the floor. Nevertheless, we enjoyed some time out and about, discovering the area, meeting friends, enjoying the garden and using the new barbecue extensively. Let’s hope the weather continues to mean well for some more garden fun.

In addition, the lovely welcomes from friends and family – happy about us finally reaching our home country safely – made it quite easy to settle down in our new home. It’s nice to arrive at a place where you know so many people already.

This past week was a busy one as school (and Kindergarten) started for the boys and we grown-ups managed to finally hang a few pictures, set up the computer, start getting ready to get back into real (business) life again. We still have brilliant memories of our travel in our minds but slowly, it’s back to reality.
